I am South Korean, born in Seoul(서울). I love this city where I lived until my early twenties.
After graduating my university in Seoul, I went to the Paris-Sorbonne to continue my study.
I spent 10 years of my life in Paris. Now, I have been in Orlando since 2007.
I like Seoul, Paris and Orlando as well. Wherever I go, I feel I am in my hometown. I am trying to make my own PLACE wherever I go in this planet.
So, I can speak, read, and write in these three languages. I am so happy for doing so.
I have three windows in Yahoo:
I think I have three different personalities based on these three different "windows." I can definitely say that I am a cross-cultural person.
I love literature and theatre, especially French nouveau roman and avant-garde theatre. I love Korean modern theatre and American musical, too.
My favorite shows are "La Cantatrice Chauve/The Bald Soprano" by Eugene Ionesco, "Whan/Circle" by Jong Wong Yang (adapted from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"),
and "Lion King" directed by Julie Taymor. I saw "Lion King" several times in Seoul and in New York.
Now, it is a big time to do something "extraordinary" to enrich my literature and theatre background with my new major, T & T. This is exciting for me!
